The TV anime "Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru!" (roughly "Even the Student Council Has Holes!", English "Even the Student Council Has Its Holes!") has released a new key visual. The illustration was created specifically for the series by character designer Ryo Imamura and shows the ensemble against the backdrop of the private academy where the story takes place: alongside student council member Mizunoe Ume, Hisako Kotobuki, Komaro Michinoku, Tan Otori, and Arisu Terui are shown, along with grade leader Satomi Hiratsuka and other schoolmates. The motif carries the slogan "This youth has mountains, valleys – and holes."

The series starts in October 2026 and is being produced at Studio Passione. Direction is by Naoyuki Tatsuwa, with series composition and scripts by Masahiro Yokotani; Ryo Imamura is responsible for character design. The main roles are voiced by Shogo Sakata (Ume), Haruka Shiraishi (Hisako), Miyu Tomita (Komaro), Hiyori Kono (Tan), Shizuka Ishigami (Arisu), and Yumi Uchiyama (Hiratsuka). The key visual was released on August 9; at the same time, the official TikTok channel for the series launched, on which exclusive content is also expected to appear in the future. Under the short title "Nama-Anaru," the production is also represented via its official website and an X account. The voice cast had previously been revealed step by step through six character videos and posters; the conclusion came on August 8 with the announcement of Yumi Uchiyama.

The source material comes from Muchimaro and has been serialized in Kodansha's "Weekly Shōnen Magazine" since April 2022; the first compiled volume went on sale in September 2022, and by March 2026 the series comprises twelve volumes. The four-panel comedy series tells the story of high school student Ume, who joins the student council only because of weak performance in science to save his grades – and there encounters an eccentric group that thoroughly disrupts his daily life. In 2023, the series was awarded in the print category of the Next Manga Award. As early as July 2024, an animated promotional film by Passione attracted attention; the anime adaptation was announced by Aniplex in April 2025. Since January 2026, an English-language edition has also been licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment.
