The planned 2026 adaptation of the fantasy light novel "Tensei Shita Daiseijo wa, Seijo de Aru Koto o Hitakakusu", internationally known as "A Tale of the Secret Saint", into a television anime series has experienced a schedule delay.

The series launch has been moved from its originally planned date to a later time within 2026. The production committee in charge cited the desire to further improve the final quality of the series as the reason for the change.

The story revolves around the protagonist Fia Ruud. She discovers that in a previous life she was Seraphina, a powerful saint. Fearing the dangers this identity could bring in her new existence, she decides to keep her regained supernatural abilities a secret and instead continues to pursue her original goal of becoming a knight.

The animation production is handled by Felix Film. The series is directed by Tomoe Makino. The voice cast includes, among others, Shion Wakayama as Fia, Shinnosuke Tokudome, Tasuku Hatanaka, and Tomokazu Sugita.
