Anime series “Ramen Red Cat” announces additional speakers and premiere details

The anime adaptation of "Ramen Red Cat", based on the original work by Angyaman, will begin airing on July 4. The announcement was made alongside the release of the first promotional video and key visual for the anime.

"Ramen Red Cat" tells the everyday stories of Tamako, a human who starts working at a ramen shop run by cats, and her feline coworkers. The work-oriented narrative highlights their interactions and the challenges of running the restaurant. Recently announced additional cast members include Noriaki Sugiyama as Sasaki, who handles customer service, cashier duties, and accounting. Mitoyo Murase brings to life the black cat Sab, who takes care of preparing side dishes and arranging the ramen, while Rie Kugimiya voices the white cat Hana, responsible for customer service. Saori Hayami plays Krishna, a tiger in charge of making the noodles, and Kurumi Orikasa voices Tamako, the only human employee.

The new promotional clip begins with Tamako attending a job interview at the cat-run Ramen Red Cat, offering a glimpse into the series' unique premise. The title song "Red Cat," composed by Wednesday Campanella, is also partially revealed. The key visual features shop manager Bunzo and the team in a group showcase.
