Anime series "Helck": A fairy tale of heroes and demons celebrates its premiere

In the anime world, a new saga is about to unfold, as the highly anticipated adaptation of Nanaki Nanao's manga "Helck" takes shape. The official website for the series has released a promotional video, giving fans a taste of the unique adventure awaiting them on July 11, when the series makes its premiere.



What stands out in the promotional video is the vibrant opening song "It's My Soul" by Hiroki Nanami, which seems to embody the spirit of the series. The series is planned for two consecutive cours, or roughly half a year, providing a grand framework for the story to unfold.

Several voice actors have been cast for the series. Yukana will lend her voice to the witch, while Shuuichi Ikeda will serve as the narrator. The opening theme for the first part is performed by Nanami, while Saji is responsible for the ending theme "Statice." The series will be available for streaming on HIDIVE, making it accessible to fans worldwide.

Tatsuo Satō directs the series at Satelight. The production brings together a team of seasoned professionals, including Toshizo Nemoto and Mitsutaka Hirota, who are in charge of the script, Yoshinori Deno, who designs the characters for animation, and Yoshihisa Hirano, who composes the musical score.

The star-studded cast includes Katsuyuki Konishi as Helck, Mikako Komatsu as Vermilio, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Azudora, and a host of other talented voice actors, each bringing their unique characters to life.

The series begins three months after the death of the Demon King, with a tournament to select his successor. The plot promises intrigue and tension as it follows the journey of the human hero Helck, who is in the running to become the next Demon King.
