Anime series "Higashijima Tanzaburou wa Kamen Rider ni Naritai" receives extended runtime

The production of the television anime series "Higashijima Tanzaburou wa Kamen Rider ni Naritai" (English title: Higashijima Tanzaburou Wants to Be a Kamen Rider) is continuing. Originally planned for a one-year run, it has now been confirmed that the series will be produced over two consecutive cours with a total of 24 episodes.

The series is based on a work by author Shibata Yokusharu and deals with adults who harbor a deep passion for the "Kamen Rider" franchise. The protagonist Higashijima Tanzaburou, voiced by Konishi Katsuyuki, is a 40-year-old man who pursues the serious desire to become a Kamen Rider himself.

The first half of the series, consisting of 13 episodes, is approaching its conclusion. The broadcast of the remaining 11 episodes is scheduled for the coming year.
