Anime series "Kanmpeki Sugite Kawaige Ga Nai to Konyaku Hakisareta Seijo Wa Ringoku Ni Urareru" publishes new details and preview

For the upcoming anime series "Kanmpeki Sugite Kawaige ga Nai to Konyaku Hakisareta Seijo wa Ringoku ni Urareru" ("The Saintess Whose Engagement Was Broken Due to Her Perfection and Lack of Charm Gets Sold to a Neighboring Kingdom"), a first key visual and a short preview have now been released.

The series is based on a novel by Koki Fuyutsuki and tells the story of the protagonist Filia, a so-called saintess, whose supposedly flawless character ultimately leads to the dissolution of her engagement and her sale to the neighboring kingdom. The presented key visual shows Filia alongside other key characters, including her younger sister Mia, her former fiancé Julius with his brother Fernando, as well as Oswald, the prince from the neighboring country, and his brother Reichhart. Notably, there is a clear visual separation of the characters into two groups, representing the different kingdoms.

The opening theme song "Ai toka." by Riria has been selected for the series. A first impression of the song can be heard in the newly released short preview. Riria commented on the bond between the sisters Filia and Mia as a central emotional point of the series.

Prior to the broadcast, an event will be held in Tokyo featuring advance screenings of the first two episodes, followed by a panel discussion with director Shu Watanabe and several representatives of the animation team from TROYCA, among other participants.
