For the upcoming anime series Tōgen Anki (English: Peach Blossom Hell), based on the graphic novel by Yūri Urushibara, further production details have been released. A new key visual presents the two protagonists Ichinose Shiki and Momiya Tsubaki in the tension between the Oni Organization and the Momotarō Unit – two rival factions at the center of the story.
An additional promotional video now offers glimpses into the series' gripping action scenes and features excerpts from the opening theme OVERNIGHT by THE ORAL CIGARETTES as well as the ending song What is justice? by the band BAND-MAID. This musical accompaniment intensifies the dramatic atmosphere of the conflict between the two factions.
The voice cast has also been expanded further: Daisuke Kishio takes on the role of Momiya Tsubaki, while Mariya Ise voices Momokusa Yomogi. Takehito Koyasu lends his voice to Ichinose Takeshi, Yasunori Masutani is heard as Momoya Samidare, and Megumi Ogata takes on the role of the school principal.
The series adapts the successful source material, published by Akita Shoten, which has already sold over three million collected volumes. The focus lies on the ongoing conflict between the descendants of the legendary Oni and Momotarō, transposed into a modern world. The animation is produced under the direction of Studio Hibari.
