For the popular light novel series "Isekai de Cheat Skill wo Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai wo mo Musou Suru: Level Up wa Jinsei wo Kaeta" (English: I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too), the next anime adaptation is on the horizon. A longer special is expected by the end of March 2026 and continues the story of protagonist Yuuya Tenjou.

The story is based on a light novel series by author Miku and illustrator Rein Kuwashima, which has been published since December 2018. It tells of Yuuya Tenjou, a student neglected by his family and bullied at school. After inheriting his grandfather's house, he discovers a door there to another world called Argena. There, he gains special abilities that allow him to fundamentally change his life in both worlds. A first anime television series with 13 episodes aired in spring 2023.

The announced special will be produced as an anime television film. Production is once again handled by the studios Millepensee (animation) and TMS Entertainment (planning and production). The core team from the previous series also returns, including chief director and scriptwriter Shin Itagaki, director Shingo Tanabe, and character designer Hiromi Kimura. The music is once again composed by Akiyuki Tateyama.

The series' numerous voice actors are reprising their roles. Yoshitsugu Matsuoka continues to voice the protagonist Yuuya Tenjo. The extensive ensemble includes, among others, Akari Kito (as Kaori Hojo), Kaori Maeda (as Lexia von Arselia), and Ai Kakuma (as Luna).

The series itself, often referred to by the short title "Iseleve," originally started as a web novel in March 2017.

The main light novel series currently comprises 19 volumes, with the 20th volume planned for March 2026. In addition to the main story, spin-off series have also emerged. These include "Girls Side," which has been published since December 2022 and tells the adventures of Princess Lexia. Since February 2025, there has also been a spin-off series focusing on the character Kaori Hōjō.

The release of the new anime special in March 2026 marks the next chapter in the adaptation of this isekai story.
