The anime adaptation of In the Clear Moonlit Dusk (Uruwashi no Yoi no Tsuki) is about to start. Based on the manga of the same name by Mika Yamamori, the series tells the story of two high school students who both bear the nickname "Prince." Released information and images provide a first look at the plot of the opening episode and the characters involved.

At the center of the plot are two teenagers whose meeting changes their everyday school life.

- Yoi Takiguchi: She is a first-year high school student who, due to her tall, slender stature, her deep voice, and her attractive, androgynous appearance, is called "Prince" by everyone. Although she is helpful, she has no experience with romantic relationships.

- Kohaku Ichimura: He is a second-year student who is also known for his looks and his wealthy family background and bears the same nickname. In contrast to Yoi, he is more experienced in matters of relationships. After meeting Yoi, he begins to take an active interest in her.
Plot of the first episode

The first episode shows the first encounter of the two "Princes." After Kohaku approaches Yoi at school, a chance reunion in a convenience store leads them to go to a park together at night. This unexpected and private situation triggers confusing feelings in Yoi.

The series is being produced under the direction of Yūsuke Maruyama at Studio East Fish Studio. The musical accompaniment is provided by the opening song "Uruwashi" and the ending song "Azalea no Kaze" by the band UNISON SQUARE GARDEN.

The manga has been serialized since July 2020 in the magazine Dessert by the publisher Kodansha and currently comprises nine collected volumes. The work has received several awards, including a prize at the An An Manga Award, and was nominated for the prestigious Kodansha Manga Award.

The release of the first anime episode is eagerly awaited by fans of the romantic shōjo story, in order to follow the dynamic relationship between Yoi and Kohaku on screen.
