The TV anime adaptation of "The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold To Another Kingdom," based on the novel by Mitsuki Fuyutsuki and illustrated by Ayakita Mago, has been announced for 2025. The protagonist, Philia Adenauer, is voiced by Yui Ishikawa, while TROYCA handles the animation production.
The story revolves around Philia, an exceptional saint from a family of renowned saints, regarded as the most gifted among them. However, her perfection and lack of vulnerability lead to envy in her surroundings. Her fiancé, Second Prince Julius, eventually breaks off their engagement, and Philia is sold to the neighboring kingdom of Parnacorta, which suffers from the absence of a saint. The original novel has been published in six volumes, while the manga adaptation consists of five volumes.
The anime is directed by Shu Watanabe, known for Shinobi no Ittoki. The series composition is by Keiichiro Ochi, who has previously worked on The Quintessential Quintuplets and The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten. The character design is by Shuhei Yamamoto, who previously worked on Kakushigoto.
