Details on the casting and production for the planned television series based on the manga source material by Hikawa Pekiru have now been announced. The plot follows an unusual constellation: the former Demon King Ryusei Narukami now leads a reclusive life, while the former heroine Meetia Hanori, who defeated him, now lives as a student. Their paths cross again in a romantic comedy.

The voice of the protagonist Ryusei Narukami is provided by Jun Fukuyama. Akira Sekine has been secured for the role of Meetia Hanori.

The animated adaptation is being handled by the studio Lay-duce. Hideyo Yamamoto serves as the director. Yukie Sugawara is responsible for the script composition. The character design is by Yosuke Okuda. The musical accompaniment is being created by the composers Yuki Kajiura and R·O·N.

A first preview clip was released with the announcement, presenting the characters in moving images.
