An adaptation of the web novel and webtoon series "Tomb Raider King" as an anime series has officially been greenlit. First glimpses have been provided in the form of a teaser image and a released video.

The plot revolves around the protagonist Ryouga Gouriki, who is involved in excavating mysterious tombs. These contain mysterious artifacts that grant their owners supernatural abilities. After a deadly betrayal, he is saved by such an artifact and sent back 15 years into the past. Equipped with knowledge of future events, he now pursues a campaign of revenge against those powerful figures who once brought him down.

The central roles will be performed by the following voice actors: Yoshimasa Hosoya lends his voice to Ryouga Gouriki. Saori Hayami voices the role of Irene Holton and Junichi Suwabe takes on the part of Taisei Oogawara.

The musical opening for the series is provided by the South Korean music group QWER. The animation is handled by STUDIO EEK.
