Announcement of the Anime Adaptation of "Yūsha Kei ni Shosu: Chōbatsu Yūsha 9004-tai Keimu Kiroku"

First details about the adaptation of the light novel series have been announced. The plot of the series follows the hero Zairo Forbartz. He is part of a penal unit in a world threatened by the rule of a Demon King. The opening episode introduces the central theme of atonement.

During a first mission, which aims to evacuate a knightly order from a forest area, Zairo encounters Dotta Ruzuras. This companion carries a conspicuous coffin containing the powerful weapon Theolitta. This artifact, known as the "Sword Goddess," is destined for the fight against the Demon King.

The series will tell the story of Zairo's ongoing struggle for survival and his personal path of redemption in this dangerous world. The series will begin with a longer special episode.
