The anime production is once again handled by Studio Zero-G. The direction continues to be led by Ryōichi Kuraya, who also oversees the series composition. The character design remains under the supervision of Yoshiko Saitō.
Providing the musical framework, as in the previous season, are the singers Shino Shimoji and Aya Suzaki, who portray the characters Luucy Luu and Tier in the anime, with the opening theme "It's a beautiful story". The ending theme "Sunny Steps" will once again be performed by Yui Hizuki.
The story follows Hiraku, who, after his death in the modern world, is reborn in a fantasy realm. Equipped with a powerful farming tool, he decides to live a quiet life as a farmer. His initially small farm gradually develops into a lively village, attracting various mythical species. The plot describes his daily life with fieldwork, animal husbandry, and coexistence with the diverse residents.
The underlying light novel series is written by Kinosuke Naito and has been published since 2017 with illustrations by Yasumo. A manga adaptation by Yasuyuki Tsurugi is also being released concurrently. Furthermore, the franchise has announced a first video game adaptation titled Farming Life in Another World: Dreamy Life.
