The anime series Burakku Kurōbā (engl. Black Clover), based on the manga series by Yūki Tabata, is receiving a second season. The continuation adapts the story following the movie Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King from 2023 and continues the tale of the rivaling mages Asta and Yuno, who strive for the title of "Wizard King" in a world shaped by magical power.

To announce the production, a key visual as well as an introductory preview were released. The key visual comes in two versions: one for the Japanese market and an international version. The introductory preview combines scenes from the previous series with iconic dialogues that highlight the characters' development.

Studio Pierrot, responsible for the first season and the movie, continues the animation. Mangaka Yūki Tabata commented on the announcement: "The long-awaited new season marks a significant step following the success of the movie. The continuation of the animated journey fills me with great joy."

The story takes place in a kingdom where magical abilities determine social status. Protagonist Asta, born without magical power, trains his physical skills, while his friend and rival Yuno possesses extraordinary magical talent. Together, they strive for influence and recognition within different mage orders. The manga was initially serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump and has been continued in Shōnen Jump GIGA since 2023.
