Announcement of the TV anime "Murai no Koi" by Junta Shima

The anime "Murai no Koi" by Junta Shima will begin airing on October 6. Additionally, the exclusive broadcast on Disney+ starts on September 4. At the same time, further details about the cast, the opening theme, as well as the second key visual and the second promo trailer were released.

"Murai no Koi" is a romantic comedy that tells the story of high school teacher Ayano Tanaka, a fan of otome games, and high school student Murai, who is in love with Tanaka. Saori Gotou plays Yuka Naito, an admired artist and twin sister of the Naito sisters. Miku Sasaki voices Hitomi Naito, Yuka's sister and a cosplayer, and Yuuki Hirose lends her voice to Yayoi Fukunaga, who is also in love with Murai.

The opening theme "Henshin!" is performed by Rinu, a member of the group "Stpri." In the latest announcement, Gotou, Sasaki, Hirose, and Rinu share their thoughts on their roles and the series.

The new key visual shows Murai offering a wedding ring while Tanaka appears to be running away holding a game console. Also featured are the Naito sisters, Murai's childhood friend Fukunaga, his friends Kiriyama and Hirai, as well as class representative Yamakado. The second main promo video showcases the characters in action, expressing their passions and preferences. Additionally, snippets of the title song "Henshin!" and the voices of Gotou as Yuka, Sasaki as Hitomi, and Hirose as Fukunaga can be heard.
