“Promise of Wizard” anime releases first character video

The TV anime adaptation of Promise of Wizard will release a series of character preview videos focusing on different countries over five consecutive weeks. On October 3, the first of these videos featuring characters from the "Central Country" was released.

Promise of Wizard follows Akira, a sage summoned from another world into a realm where humans and wizards coexist. He embarks on a mission to combat the "Great Calamity," a mysterious, threatening moon, while also striving to become a bridge between wizards and humans.

The anime is based on the popular mobile game of the same name. The series is scheduled to premiere in January 2025.
