The popular anime "Senpai wa Otokonoko," based on the original work by Pom, is set to be adapted into a film titled "Senpai wa Otokonoko: Ame nochi Hare" (After the Rain Comes Sunshine). The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on February 14, 2025. Along with the announcement, a teaser image was released, hinting at the emotional continuation of the story.

"Senpai wa Otokonoko" follows the life of Makoto Hanaoka, a male high school student who enjoys dressing as a girl. The story explores the relationships between Makoto, his classmate Saki Aoi, who mistakenly confesses her feelings to him thinking he is a girl, and Ryuuji Taiga, Makoto's childhood friend. The anime aired from July and concluded with its final episode on September 26.

The upcoming film "Senpai wa Otokonoko: Ame nochi Hare" will pick up where the TV series left off, bringing the heartwarming and complex dynamics between the three characters to a close.
