The light novel Shirobuta Kizoku desu ga Zense no Kioku ga Haeta node Hiyoko na Otouto Sodatemasu by Yashiro is being adapted into a TV anime, set to premiere in July 2025. Along with this announcement, key visuals, a promotional video, and the main cast have been released.
This "fantasy about territory management" revolves around Agaha, a 5-year-old boy and the eldest son of a count's family. Initially spoiled and selfish, Agaha regains memories of a past life as a gentle "otomen" who loved cooking, sewing, and singing. Determined to change his lazy ways, he works on improving himself. His life takes a turn when his half-brother Regulus appears, and Agaha has a vision of being killed by him in an inheritance dispute. Despite this vision, Agaha decides to stand by Regulus as a caring brother, eventually becoming a devoted "brother fool."
The original novel series consists of 12 volumes, with the 13th volume set to release on January 15. A manga adaptation by Yokowake is being serialized in TO Books' Comic Corona. Additionally, the story was adapted into stage plays in 2021 and 2023.
