Astro Note - Episode 1

In the first episode of "Astro Note," Miyasaka Takumi arrives at Astro Lodge under the assumption that a job interview for the position of head chef is being held there. Upon his arrival, he encounters Gotokuji Mira, the new owner of Astro Lodge, after Mira and a ladder had a minor accident. Mira explains that the accident was caused by an animal that startled her while she was cleaning the roof.

Mira clarifies that Astro Lodge is not a restaurant but a shared living space where breakfast is included in the rent, and which she now manages herself after the previous landlord passed away. The residents of Astro Lodge express their dissatisfaction with Mira's cooking, which they find inedible, and demand the hiring of a professional chef to improve the quality of breakfast.

After hearing the residents' complaints and the poor quality of Mira's cooking, Takumi offers to prepare breakfast for everyone using fresh sheep's cheese provided by a neighbor. The breakfast he prepares is well-received by the residents and improves their opinion of the food at the lodge. Mira, impressed by Takumi's culinary skills, expresses her appreciation and realizes how a good breakfast can positively influence the start of the day.

As Takumi decides to stay at Astro Lodge and continue searching for work while cooking for the residents, he begins to adjust to his new life there. He meets various residents, including Shokichi, a novelist, and Teruko, an indie idol known as Terurun, who performs a welcome show for him.

The episode ends with a curiosity and a potential romance, as Takumi interprets Mira's mention of being a "Wido" as referring to her being a widow, unaware that she is actually referring to her origins from the planet Wid.
