“Astronoot”: launch date and key visuals announced

The TV anime "Astronoot" will premiere on April 5. The latest promotional video, details about the final theme song, and key visuals have now been revealed. This unique series is a sci-fi romantic comedy about Mira, an alien and landlady of the wooden estate Asutoro Manor, and Takumi Miyasaka, a chef living there. The character designs are by Eikaku Kubonouchi, with Maaya Uchida voicing Mira and Soma Saito voicing Takumi.

The recently released second promo video showcases Takumi and Mira’s daily life at Asutoro Manor, along with the eccentric residents, and hints at mysterious, unexplainable phenomena that add an enigmatic touch to the story.

The ending theme titled "Kokoro no Kagi" is a duet by Maaya Uchida and Soma Saito, offering a glimpse into the relationship between the two characters. This song is partially featured in the promotional video. The key visual depicts Takumi and Mira, the latter wearing an apron, surrounded by the quirky residents of the estate, with the memorable slogan "We’ll take everything into the final episode."
