“Syd Craft” – New manga launched in Weekly Shonen Jump

On November 18, 2024, the 51st issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, published by Shueisha, featured a new series titled "シド゙・クラフトの最終推理" ("Syd Craft: Love is a Mystery"), written by Taishi Tsutsui.

The story revolves around Syd Craft, a famous detective known for solving numerous complex cases. Despite his excellent reputation, however, Syd has no desire to be a detective. Instead, he repeatedly finds himself near incidents that occur in his surroundings and solves them almost incidentally.

The plot combines classic crime stories with romantic elements, offering a unique blend of suspense and comedy. The series marks Tsutsui's return to Weekly Shonen Jump after his earlier success with "We Never Learn."

To celebrate the launch, a promotional video was released, giving readers a glimpse into the series' distinctive atmosphere and character dynamics.
