The official website for the anime adaptation of "Tales of Wedding Rings" by Maybe has released a new video and accompanying visuals focusing on the characters. This week, the character Nephrites takes the spotlight, adding to a series of weekly releases that previously introduced the characters Satō and Hime.





The anime, set to premiere in January 2024, has already announced a prominent cast, including Gen Sato as Satō and Akari Kitō as Hime, as well as Miyuri Shimabukuro as Nephrites. Takashi Naoya is directing the project for Staple Entertainment, while the narrative arc is crafted by Deko Akao, and the character aesthetics are designed by Saori Nakashiki.

The story is an unusual blend of romance and fantasy, following the protagonist Sato on an unexpected journey. After following his childhood friend Hime into a magical realm, he marries her and ascends to become the Ring King, a legendary figure.
