Two new voice actors have been announced for the TV anime adaptation of Kamome Shirahama's manga "Atelier of Witch Hat" (Original title: "Tongari Bōshi no Atelier"). Starting from the fourth episode, which will air on April 27, Mutsumi Tamura and Yoshito Yasuhara will be heard in new roles.

Tamura voices the boy Tartah, who helps out in his grandfather's magic item shop "Star Sword" in the wizard city of Kalun. Yasuhara takes on the role of Nornoa, Tartah's grandfather. A character visual of Tartah was also released with the announcement, showing an insightful line about his emotional world. The character suffers from the congenital "Silver Sight" disease, which causes him to perceive all colors only in silver tones.

"I am very happy to be part of a work that has stayed in my heart since the audition," said Tamura in a statement. "The recordings were drawn in great detail, and although I can't reveal much yet, Tartah carries many different emotions within him – it was a very impressive time for me as a voice actress."

The fantasy series is about the girl Coco, who uncovers a great secret of magic and then becomes an apprentice to the wizard Qifrey to free her mother from a curse. Coco is voiced by Reina Motomura, while Natsuki Hanae portrays Qifrey. The series is shown in its original version with German subtitles as well as with a German dubbed version on the streaming service Crunchyroll. The German voice actors for the main roles are Julia Fölster (Coco) and Tammo Kaulbach (Qifrey).
