Atelier Ryza - Episode 5

Episode 6 of "Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout" begins with Ryza talking to Empel about her desire to use alchemy to build a secret hideout for herself and her friends. Empel grants her insight, and Ryza discusses the plans for the hideout with her friends Tao, Lent, and Klaudia. After revising the design, they finalize the document for the hideout.

The friends leave Ryza's house to gather building materials. They meet a woman named Bascila, who allows them to use her wood. In return, she asks Klaudia for a pudding recipe, which Klaudia agrees to fulfill. This is followed by a montage showing everyone preparing for the hideout.

Klaudia faces a problem when she learns that cow's milk for the pudding is hard to come by on the island. She makes a version with goat's milk, but Bascila prefers the cow's milk version. Ryza apologizes, but Klaudia comes up with a new idea: she uses elven sugar for the goat's milk pudding, which Bascila finds delicious.

Ryza synthesizes the elven sugar and delivers it to Klaudia. They meet up with Lent and Tao to build the hideout, taking breaks as needed. Klaudia and Ryza visit Bascila, who thanks them for the new pudding samples. The group finishes the hideout and names it Atelier Ryza.

After sharing their dreams, Lent senses something strange coming from the forest. Ryza, Lent, and Tao encounter a crystallized scorpion monster but manage to escape. They explain the situation to Empel and Lila, who have arrived at Atelier Ryza. Lila investigates but finds no trace of the creature.

Empel and Lila decide to stay at Atelier Ryza to keep watch. Empel gives Ryza a core crystal, an artifact that allows her to reuse items synthesized through alchemy. The episode ends with Ryza thanking Empel for the gift.
