Atelier Ryza - Episode 7

The episode begins with Klaudia's father warning her to avoid dangerous areas, as there has recently been an earthquake. Klaudia, who wants to grow stronger and help Ryza and the group, visits Empel and Lila's house. She asks Lila to teach her archery. Although Empel hesitates, Lila offers a self-training guide instead.

While Klaudia is seen training, Ryza, Lent, and Tao are busy with their own activities. Later, Ryza informs Klaudia that Atelier Ryza might soon be safe again thanks to Lila's hints, but they must wait for Empel's confirmation. During a chance encounter with Romy, a traveling merchant, Klaudia and Ryza learn about Romy's search for the perfect dress for her client Jonna, who wants to impress a prince. Romy initially hesitates to let Ryza try on the dresses but eventually agrees, on the condition that Lila accompanies them.

Lila, who is reluctant at first, agrees to participate. However, while trying on a dress, she accidentally breaks a locket attached to it. Empel returns and grants Ryza permission to enter Atelier Ryza, albeit with certain restrictions. Ryza decides to repair the broken locket using alchemy. After the repair, Klaudia sews the locket back onto the dress.

The scene shifts to Romy's dress presentation, where Ryza, Klaudia, and Lila model the dresses for Jonna. After the event, Jonna reveals that she has bought all the dresses and shares her plans to leave the island in search of her prince. Klaudia expresses her desire to accompany Ryza on her adventures, and Ryza acknowledges Klaudia's archery training. However, Ryza is concerned about how Klaudia's father will react.

When meeting Mr. Valentz, Klaudia's father, he firmly rejects Klaudia's participation in adventures with Ryza and doubts Ryza's ability to protect her. Klaudia challenges her father, suggesting that he should allow her to join them if Ryza and her friends can prove their strength. Mr. Valentz sets a condition: if they fail, Klaudia can no longer associate with Ryza and her friends. Ryza, Lent, Tao, and Klaudia accept the challenge and follow Mr. Valentz to learn more about their task.

Mr. Valentz tasks them with repairing a leak caused by the earthquake. Ryza uses her alchemical skills to find a solution, and together with her friends, she succeeds in fixing the leak. Impressed, Mr. Valentz acknowledges their success in the first test. The group then sets off to celebrate their achievement.

Their celebration is interrupted by Bos and Lumbarr, who mock Ryza and her friends. Klaudia questions Bos's hostility toward the group, to which he expresses his disdain for their immature behavior. Despite Bos's skepticism, Ryza assures him that they have grown and will continue to prove themselves. The episode ends with Ryza rallying her friends, determined to fulfill Mr. Valentz's tasks and prove their critics wrong.
