Atelier Ryza - Episode 9

In Episode 9 of "Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout," Ryza, Lent, and Tao team up to participate in a competition against Bos. The competition, organized by Klaudia's father, Mr. Lambert, is a race to a location known as the Northern Fork and back. Along the way, the trio helps a pedestrian who has a problem with his cart and fends off a monster in the process. They receive a reward for their good deed before moving on.

During their journey, they have a brief encounter with a monster that snatches food, and Tao discovers an unusual text on a stone fragment. When they reach the fork, Bos and his team are surprised by their progress. The teams race to a hut, where they encounter a dragon. Although their initial attempts to fight it are unsuccessful, the dragon eventually retreats after damaging the stone with the text Tao discovered.

After ensuring that Bos, Lumbar, and their guardian are safe, Ryza and her friends are informed by Agatha that everyone will recover. Mr. Lubart thanks them and advises them not to venture into further adventures until the dragon situation is resolved. The next day, Ryza and Klaudia learn from Romy that the village is worried about the dragon. A villager voices suspicion that outsiders were allowed into the village because of the dragon.

Back at Atelier Ryza, Empel and Lila discuss the dragon with the team. Ryza mentions a stronger bomb recipe she developed specifically for the dragon, while Tao shares insights about the stone fragment. Empel suspects that a previous encounter with a crystallized scorpion monster may have attracted the dragon and points out that they plan to track and hunt this crystal monster. The episode ends with Ryza questioning whether they should leave the situation to Empel and Lila.
