“The Aristocrat Who Will Fall, But Decided to Master Magic Because He Was Bored” anime will be released in January 2025

The TV anime adaptation of the light novel "The Aristocrat Who Will Fall, But Decided to Master Magic Because He Was Bored," written by Nazuna Miki, will premiere in January 2025. The anime will first be streamed on U-NEXT and Animehodai. Along with this announcement, the cast and a teaser promo video have been released.

The story follows a man who, while enjoying an evening drink, is suddenly reborn as Liam, the fifth son of a doomed aristocratic family. Determined to carve his own path, Liam becomes an adventurer and one of the greatest magicians in the world. The anime is directed by Kenichi Ishikura and produced by Studio DEEN and Marvy Jack.

Cast:

Liam (voiced by Ayumu Murase): The protagonist who embarks on a journey to master magic and break free from his declining noble family.

Laadorn (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita): A magical dragon residing within Liam, granting him power in exchange for shelter.

Asuna (voiced by Haruka Tomatsu): A member of Liam's party.

Jodie (voiced by Saori Hayami): Another party member who accompanies Liam.
