“The Foolish Angels Dances with the Devil” is scheduled to air in January 2024

The TV anime "The Foolish Angels Dances with the Devil," based on the original work by Yoshii Azumasawa, has announced that its broadcast will begin in January 2024. Alongside this news, the main visual, a first trailer, and details about the theme songs have been revealed.

The story revolves around the comedic love pursuit of Lily Amane, an angel sent to the human world to redeem demons, and Akutsu Masatora, a demon searching for a charismatic figure to save the underworld. Both characters attempt to win each other over. Lily Amane is voiced by Ayane Sakura, and Akutsu Masatora is voiced by Yuma Uchida. The main visual features Lily and Akutsu in their school uniforms alongside other characters such as Hiroya Tanigawa, Kensaku Hirota, and Yuka Tanahashi.

The first trailer showcases the opening song "Oto wa," performed by Taiyō to Odore Tsukiyo ni Utae. The PV shows Akutsu visibly enchanted by Lily's breath and a blushing Lily. The ending theme, titled "Gift," is sung by Kaori Ishihara.
