The TV anime "The Genius Healer, Banished as Useless, Finds Joyful Freedom as a Dark Healer" has revealed a new key visual and the second teaser trailer. At the same time, three new cast members have been announced.

The second teaser trailer showcases the protagonist Zenos, who, after being banished as a healer, opens a practice in a rundown slum. Various eccentric patients seek his help as he forms bonds with the residents of the district. The trailer also offers a glimpse of dynamic action scenes in which Zenos and other characters become entangled in the plot.

The key visual features Zenos alongside the main characters Lili and Carmilla, as well as a variety of new characters introduced in the second trailer.

Three additional characters and their voice actors have been announced:

- Zofia, the leader of the lizardmen, is voiced by Anna Nagase.

- Ringa, the leader of the werewolves, is voiced by Mashiro Yoko.

- Reve, the leader of the orcs, is voiced by Sayaka Kikuchi.

The story revolves around Zenos, a talented healer who is cast out as "useless" by his adventurer party. He decides to build a new life as a so-called "Dark Healer." In an abandoned district on the outskirts of the slums, he opens a small practice and helps the people living there in his own way.
