The upcoming TV anime adaptation titled "The Ghost of Regret Wants to Retire" has been officially announced, bringing the fantasy-comedy light novel series to life.

The story revolves around the protagonist Cry Andrich, a young man who quickly realizes he has no talent for treasure hunting, despite his childhood dream. Unexpectedly, Cry is appointed as the leader of the strongest group and embarks on a journey filled with glory and hardships.

Voice actors Kenjiro Ono and Miyu Kubota have been cast in the lead roles, bringing the characters of Cry Andrich and his loyal junior hunter Tino Shade to life. The series is directed by Masahiro Takata, with animation produced by Zero-G.
