The anime "The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies" will premiere on July 9 and release the main promotional videos. The videos dramatically and humorously showcase the romance between Mira, the strategist of an evil organization, and Byakuya Mimori, a magical girl battered by fate.

The opening song "Mikansei Rendezvous" by Lezel and the ending song "Itsumo Futari ga Ii ne," sung by voice actors Yūki Ono (Mira) and Mai Nakahara (Byakuya), will both be available for streaming from midnight on July 9. Lezel expressed her excitement for the project, calling it the favorite work of a beloved teacher and hoping that the song will be appreciated alongside the anime and reach its creator, Cocoa-sensei.
