“The Villainous Moriarty in Me” is getting an anime adaptation, premiering July 19th

The novel "The Villainous Moriarty in Me" by Kuro Meika is being adapted into an anime, which will premiere on CBC TV on July 19. The announcement includes a visual teaser for the anime.

The story follows James Moriarty, the notorious criminal mastermind who died after a confrontation with a famous detective. Moriarty finds himself in another world, where he inhabits the body of a beautiful noblewoman, Shelly Moriarty, who is being bullied by other aristocrats. With his brilliant mind, he devises a plan for an exciting revenge drama, with the two Moriartys playing the leading roles.

Ryohta Suzuki will voice James Moriarty, while Yuri Noguchi will take on the role of Shelly Moriarty. A teaser promo featuring the characters' voices has also been released.
