“The White Mage Who Was Expelled From the Hero’s Party Is Picked Up by an S-Rank Adventurer – This White Mage Is Too Overpowered” will receive an anime adaptation in 2025

The anime series based on Sora Suigetsu's light novel "The White Mage Who Was Expelled From the Hero’s Party Is Picked Up by an S-Rank Adventurer – This White Mage Is Too Overpowered" will air in 2025. A teaser visual has already been released.

The story follows the white mage Lloyd, who is unexpectedly expelled from the hero's party. While searching for a new purpose, he coincidentally meets a group of S-rank adventurers in desperate need of a white mage. As he accompanies them on their adventures, it becomes clear that Lloyd possesses extraordinary support spells—without even realizing it, he becomes an exceptional adventurer.

The series began in 2020 on the platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō and was later published in print by Futabasha. The seventh volume will be released on November 29. Additionally, a manga adaptation by Wasabi Mukuno is being serialized on Gaugau Monster+.

The production team includes director Hiroshi Tamada, series composer Akihiko Inari, character designer DeeCHA, and animation designer Yūta Itō. The animation is produced by Felix Film.
