The upcoming TV anime "The Witch and the Beast," set to air in January 2024, has revealed its additional cast and a key visual. The dark fantasy series, based on the original work by Sakutake Yukinori, follows the story of Gido, who is transformed into a girl by a witch's curse, and the mage Ashaf, who embarks on a quest for revenge.

New additions to the cast include Yoko Hikasa as the witch Ione and Noriko Shibasaki as her apprentice Marie. The roles of Keira Heinz and her lover Ruben Cole are played by Junko Minagawa and Hidenobu Kiuchi, respectively. Furthermore, Atsushi Kousaka as Shulk, Takuma Terashima as Rolan, Saori Hayami as Fanola Christofle, Ryota Osaka as Johann, and Hodumi Gouda as Jeff Enka join the cast, while Nozomu Sasaki takes on the role of the Necromancer.

The key visual captivates with its intense depiction of Gido and the mage Ashaf preparing for battle against the witch, accompanied by Ashaf's crow familiar.
