The upcoming anime adaptation of "Villainess Level 99," a light novel series penned by Satori Tanabata with illustrations by Tea, was recently detailed by Kadokawa. The anime is expected to premiere in January 2024, and various key elements such as the main cast, crew, and visual assets have already been revealed.





As for the voice actors, the anime has enlisted:

- Yūma Uchida as Patrick Ashbatten
- Azumi Waki as Alicia Ehnleit
- Taku Yashiro as Edwin Valschein
- Haruki Ishiya as William Ares
- Kōhei Amasaki as Oswald Grimsarde

Behind the scenes, Minoru Yamaoka will serve as director, leading the project at Jumondo Studio. Fumihiko Shimo is in charge of the series composition. Hitomi Kaiho and Lo Ho Kim were selected to adapt the characters from page to screen, while Kana Utatane was chosen as the composer for the anime's musical score.

The story revolves around Yumiella Dolkness, a seemingly typical villainess in an otome RPG who also happens to be an extraordinarily powerful hidden boss. Originally an introverted college gamer, Yumiella finds herself reincarnated into this new role. She strives for a peaceful life and avoids the main characters who could spell her doom. However, her old gaming habits resurface, and she levels herself up to the max, leading others to mistakenly believe she is the Demon Lord.
