“Yubisaki to Koi Koi” planned for January 2024, first trailer and further cast revealed

The TV anime "Yubisaki to Koi Koi," based on the original work by Morishita Suu, is set to premiere in January 2024. The first promotional video and additional cast members have now been revealed. The story revolves around the hearing-impaired university student Yuki Itoze and the world-traveling backpacker Itsuki Haki, who is also Yuki's senior colleague. Their relationship develops after Itsuki helps Yuki in a moment of need.



In the anime, Sumire Moroboshi will voice Yuki, while Yuu Miyazaki will play Itsuki. The first promo video introduces viewers to Yuki's growing affection for Itsuki and shows her struggling with these new feelings. It also depicts how Itsuki gradually becomes part of Yuki's world. Other characters include Rin, who watches her friends navigate the highs and lows of love, Sakurashi, who is skilled in sign language but has a prickly demeanor, and Kyoya, who greets everyone with a warm smile.

Further casting details have also been announced: Tsuyoshi Otsuka will play Sakurashi, Ryota Osaka will voice the café owner Kyoya, and Kaede Hondo will portray the caring friend Rin. Comments from the cast members reveal their excitement for the series, as they highlight the depth and relatable qualities of their respective characters.
