[b]A Couple of Cuckoos[/b] (Kakkō no Iinazuke): Second season starts in July

The popular romantic comedy series A Couple of Cuckoos (Japanese original title: Kakkō no Iinazuke) returns in summer with a second season. The broadcast begins on July 8, 2025. Along with the announcement, a new key visual and a fresh promotional video were released.

The current key visual shows main character Nagi Umino together with the most important people in his life: Erika Amano, Hiro Segawa, Ai Mochizuki, and Sachi Umino. The new trailer highlights the dynamic interactions between the characters, accompanied by the energetic opening song.

The musical contribution is the new opening "Kimi ga Kureta Mono" ("What You Gave Me") by asmi. The artist describes the song as a personal love song with a summery-rock vibe – fitting the atmosphere of the series.

A Couple of Cuckoos tells the turbulent story of Nagi, who was switched at birth and suddenly finds himself in an arranged engagement with Erika Amano. Between misunderstandings, jealousy, and plenty of humorous situations, a lovable story about family, love, and growing up unfolds.
