'Baki Hanma' Anime Reveals Two-Part Release And New Theme Songs

Netflix has released the first ending sequence for "Baki Hanma," based on Keisuke Itagaki's manga "Hanma Baki - Son of Ogre." The sequence, featuring the song "WILDER" by UPSTART, is tied to the first part of the anime, which focuses on the "Tale of Pickle & The Pickle War Saga."



The second season of "Baki Hanma" will unfold in two parts, starting with the "Tale of Pickle & The Pickle War Saga" on July 26. This will be followed by the "Father vs. Son Saga," which premieres on August 24.

In this season, Takeshi Kusao voices the character Pickle, a warrior from a primitive era, while Nobuo Tobita plays Dr. Albert Payne, the scientist behind Pickle's revival. The anime will feature both the original cast and staff from the first season.

The "Tale of Pickle & The Pickle War Saga" will open with the theme song "The Beast" by the Wagakki Band. For the "The Father VS Son Saga," SKY-HI will perform the opening song "Sarracenia," and BE:FIRST will contribute the ending song "Salvia."

"Baki Hanma" is the third installment in a series of "Baki" anime on Netflix and serves as a sequel to "Baki: Dai Raitaisai-hen." The previous series was released worldwide on Netflix in September 2021, with all 12 episodes available at once.
