"Ballpark de Tsukamaete!" is being adapted as a TV anime

The manga "Ballpark de Tsukamaete!" by Tatsurou Suga is being adapted into a TV anime. A teaser video, along with details about the production team and main cast, has also been released.

This series is a lively ensemble comedy set in a baseball stadium. At the heart of the story is Ruriko, a beer vendor who outwardly appears as a flashy "gal" but surprisingly possesses a pure heart. Throughout the story, the series offers glimpses into the unique and often humorous lives of the stadium's "residents," whose quirks enrich the vibrant atmosphere. The manga is currently serialized in Kodansha's Morning magazine and has 14 volumes so far.

The role of Ruriko, who has a charming and spirited "tsundere" personality, is voiced by Fairouz Ai. By her side is Murata, an office worker who regularly visits the stadium after work and becomes Ruriko's first regular customer. Murata is voiced by Keishi Inomata. The teaser video showcases several humorous interactions between these two central characters. Additionally, visuals have been released, capturing the characters' various emotions and the stadium's atmosphere.

The anime is scheduled for 2025 and is produced by EMT Squared. Junichi Kitamura directs, while Shigeru Murakoshi handles series composition, and Fumio Iida is in charge of character design. The music is composed by Monaca.
