Bandai Namco Filmworks is gearing up for the 10th anniversary of Gundam Build Metaverse

A decade of intricate worlds and captivating storylines in the Gundam Build universe is being celebrated with the unveiling of "Gundam Build Metaverse," an innovative new anime. Bandai Namco Filmworks has released a teaser trailer, key visuals, and a story introduction that sets the stage for a new chapter in the Gundam Build franchise.



"Gundam Build Metaverse" transports us to an immersive online universe where users interact through their avatars and participate in Gunpla battles. The story revolves around Rio Hōjō, a Hawaiian boy who discovers the art of Gunpla creation from local enthusiast Seria Urutsuki and hones his combat skills under the guidance of the mysterious masked woman in the Metaverse. Rio's custom-built Lah Gundam, inspired by the "Spirit of Japan" and named after the Hawaiian term for "sun," becomes his weapon of choice as he seeks out ever more formidable opponents.
