Bikkuri-Men Anime Reveals Characters and Premiere Date Along with Additional Staff

The Japanese confectionery giant Lotte has revealed exciting details about its upcoming anime Bikkuri-Men, based on the popular waffle snack series Bikkuri-Man. A promotional video was recently released, showcasing 14 characters as well as a new key visual.



The creative team behind the anime has been expanded and now consists of:

- Hiroyuki Takei and Takuya Io as mechanical designers

- Osamu Tayama as art director

- Haruko Nobori as color key artist

- Jun Kubota as compositing director of photography

- Rie Matsubara as editor

- Akiko Fujita as sound director

- INSPION Edge handling sound production

The anime has also announced its voice cast, including Daishi Kajita as Yamato, Shūta Morishima as Ushiwaka, and other notable actors. Hiroyuki Takei, best known for creating the manga Shaman King, is responsible for the original character designs and mechanical designs of the anime.

Tomohiro Tsukimisato is directing the series, while Shinei Animation and Lesprit lend their expertise in animation production. Yuniko Ayana is in charge of the series' scripts, the character designs are by Ayano Ōwada, and Yasuhiro Misawa is composing the music. The opening theme "Collection" is performed by Dannie May, while the ending theme "Seishun☆Whatcha Gonna Do" is sung by various members of the anime's cast, including Daishi Kajita and Shūta Morishima.

The story revolves around a high school part-timer named Yamato, who gets caught up in a conflict between two rival food stores over these valuable stickers. With stakes so high that a money transport vehicle is required and a past marked by a dramatic theft case, this tale of sticker rivalry sets the stage for an epic battle of fate.
