For the upcoming anime series Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku based on the manga by Mika Sakasama, a second key visual and a main trailer have been released. The series will begin in early July.

The new key visual shows the protagonists Tsumugi Rintarō and Wakuri Kaoruko in significantly closer proximity to each other than in the first release – with synchronized steps and direct eye contact. The trailer presents scenes from the story for the first time and introduces numerous characters, emphasizing the group dynamic nature of this youth story.

The musical accompaniment is provided by:

• Opening Theme: Manazashi wa Hikari by Tatsuya Kitani

• Ending Theme: Hare no Hi ni by Reira Shio

Kitani describes his song as a tribute to an innocent, boundless gaze that overcomes personal barriers. Shio, who composed directly after reading the source material for the first time, characterizes the story as permeated with tender affection. Both songs can be heard in excerpts in the trailer.

The series tells the school story between Rintarō from a troubled school and Kaoruko from an elite girls' school. The source material is published in the magazine Pocket.
