The popular BL webtoon "Here U Are" by D Jun is being adapted into a TV anime. The announcement was made at Anime Expo 2026 during the Crunchyroll panel. Alongside the announcement, a teaser visual, a teaser PV, as well as the main cast and production team were revealed.

The story revolves around Yu Yang, a popular second-year student at the Faculty of Design of Kato University, and Li Huan, a silent and grumpy freshman. Despite a difficult first encounter, the two develop a deep emotional bond. The webtoon, which was published between 2017 and 2020, has garnered over 390 million views worldwide (as of April 2026) on platforms such as LINE Manga.

The lead roles are voiced by Yuki Inoue (Yu Yang) and Ryota Suzuki (Li Huan). Inoue emphasized that he deeply immersed himself in the emotions of his character; Suzuki highlighted the purity and resulting strength of Li Huan. The series is directed by Tomoe Makino, who was previously responsible for "Hananoike-kun to Koi no Yamai." Series composition is handled by Aiki Kawamura, character design by Asami Hayakawa, and music composed by Shinya Kiyozuka. The animation is produced at Studio Rouseact.
