The next anime adaptation of the cult manga Black Butler (jap. Kuroshitsuji) by Yana Toboso will premiere on April 5, 2024. Titled Black Butler: Green Witch Arc (jap. Kuroshitsuji: Midori no Majo-hen), the series adapts the arc of the same name, which revolves around mysterious deaths in Germany.

A teaser trailer shows Sebastian and Ciel on their journey into the "Wolf Forest" (Werewolf Territory), accompanied by the voices of the new characters Sullivan (Rie Kugimiya) and Wolfram (Chikahiro Kobayashi).

The Phantomhive duo investigates a series of unexplained murders linked to an ancient witch legend. The arc takes them into dark forests and confronts them with supernatural enemies—a gloomy mix of mystery and gothic horror, typical of Black Butler.

The Green Witch Arc, serialized in the manga since 2019, is considered one of the most complex chapters of the series.
