Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall unveils new trailer and release date

On the official website for the new Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall, the first full promotional video for the anime has been released. Alongside the trailer's release, the Japanese TV premiere date has been confirmed for April 3, as well as the ending song and cast members.



The main cast includes:

- Yui Ishikawa as Empress/Black Rock Shooter

- Saori Hayami as Dead Master

- Megumi Han as Strength

Singer Kanako Takatsuki will perform the ending theme "Before the Nightmare," which can be heard in the promotional video below.

The plot is described on the official website as follows:

The year is 2062. After the failure of a project aimed at largely automating the workforce, Artemis, the artificial intelligence at the core of the project, has turned against humanity, and Earth has been devastated by a twenty-year war. A young girl named Empress awakens in an underground research facility at a base.

She is one of the three surviving human Guardians. Soon after, she meets the colonel of the Peacekeeping Force, who informs her that her mission is to stop Artemis from constructing a space elevator connecting the Moon and Earth. However, her path is obstructed by her supposed friends Dead Master and Strength, the unmanned army of Artemis' minions, and the cult group Smiley. As their various objectives intertwine, Empress and the colonel set out for the space elevator. What awaits them on the other side?
