Blade & Bastard: Ruin Wanderer and Silent Wolf – Voice Actors Announced

Details on the cast for the main roles of the anime adaptation of the fantasy series "Blade & Bastard" have now been revealed. Alongside this, a video featuring first voice previews has been released.

Protagonist Ialmas, an amnesiac adventurer who must recover fallen comrades in dungeons, is voiced by Takashi Furukawa. The silent companion Garbage, whose behavior appears animalistic and who saved Ialmas from a dire situation, is voiced by Tomori Kusunoki. Additionally, Daiki Yamashita portrays the novice thief Lalahaja, Saori Hayami plays the elven priestess Ainikki, and Shion Wakayama embodies the physically imposing but insecure rookie sorceress Berkanan.

The voice casting video presents the voice actors alongside newly created illustrations by so-bin. Furthermore, the previously released teaser visual now also features illustrations of the characters Lalahaja, Ainikki, and Berkanan.

"Blade & Bastard" is a collaboration between Kumo Kagyū (Goblin Slayer) and illustrator so-bin (Overlord). The dark fantasy story is set in a world inspired by "Wizardry." The plot begins when Ialmas meets Garbage—the last survivor of a destroyed adventurer party. Their shared journey through life-threatening labyrinths forms the core of the narrative. The manga is published by Square Enix.
