Bleach: Sennen Kessen-hen - Ketsubetsu-tan - Episode 2

In the second episode of Bleach: Sennen Kessen-hen - Ketsubetsu-tan, the plot continues with Yhwach planning another attack on the Soul Society. Since the Squad Captains are still reeling from their recent challenges, the conditions are ripe for Yhwach's assault. The narrative focuses on two Captains, Hitsugaya and Soifon, as they attempt to adapt to battle without their Bankai.

Hitsugaya, alongside his comrade Rangiku, faces off against Bazz-B, an enemy with formidable heat-based abilities. The episode showcases Hitsugaya's struggle to counter the heat attacks with his ice powers in the absence of his Bankai. Nevertheless, Hitsugaya and Rangiku must devise strategies and adapt to stay in the fight as Bazz-B gains increasing momentum throughout the battle.

Soifon, another Captain, finds herself in a similar predicament. Unlike Hitsugaya, Soifon fights essentially alone, as her subordinate Omaeda provides only inadequate support. The episode highlights Soifon's efforts to hold her ground in battle, even as she is pushed to her limits.

Despite these challenges, the episode is not without some levity. Rangiku's active involvement in the major battles and her dynamic interactions with Hitsugaya offer a refreshing change of pace.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger, as it is revealed that a Bankai can be restored.
