Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War returns with new season, new voices and original soundtrack coming

The upcoming return of the anime "Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War" was confirmed during the first live-streamed "Krew beInside" special event dedicated to Tite Kubo's projects. During this event, details about the next season of the anime were revealed, including a promotional video, key visuals, as well as information about the opening theme song and additional cast members.



The third promotional video for the anime features the opening song "STARS" by the rock band w.o.d. This marks the band's first contribution to an anime soundtrack. The video also confirms that the anime is set to resume on July 8.

Aoi Yūki, Tsuyoshi Koyama, Sōichiro Hoshi, and Nao Tōyama, who play Liltotto, Gerald, Nianzol, and Giselle respectively, will join the anime's cast. Their inclusion expands the character roster for the upcoming season.

Manga creator Kubo has expressed his admiration for the band w.o.d. However, it was clarified that these personal feelings did not influence the selection of the band's song for the anime.

The anime is expected to continue in four parts, covering the remaining content of the original manga until its conclusion. Tomohisa Taguchi will take over as director at Studio Pierrot, replacing Noriyuki Abe. Masashi Kudo will return as character designer, and Shiro SAGISU will once again compose the music.

Returning cast members also include individuals who previously worked on the game "Bleach: Brave Souls," further expanding the lineup for the upcoming season. The "Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War" anime series is scheduled to air on July 8.
