The development was announced during a special celebration for its second anniversary on Sunday, and a teaser image featuring a character named Arona was released. The story of Blue Archive takes place in the academy city Kivotos, which is made up of thousands of academies. Players take on the role of a Sensei who guides a group of students from the Federal Investigation Club, also known as the Shell. As the newest club in the city, they are tasked by the General Student Council to protect Kivotos from harm.
